Keeping cardholder data out of your multichannel environment

The amount of sensitive data ingested by digital and phone channels can make PCI compliance a challenging task for contact centres. By combining the TokenEx Cloud Security Platform with Syntec’s CardEasy software, organisations can support payments via multiple acceptance channels while preventing sensitive cardholder data from entering their environments. The result is a complementary PCI solution that removes contact centres from the scope of compliance.

When a customer enters payment card data, it’s captured and secured by CardEasy technology before being sent to TokenEx, where it is exchanged for a token. This is used by the contact centre agents in place of the sensitive cardholder data. In effect, no cardholder data enters the contact centre environment, removing it from PCI scope.
